During treatment, extremely thin needles are almost painlessly inserted in various points in the body. Stimulation of those points results in balancing the internal energy of the body ( “chi”). Our highly skilled acupuncturist will administer a very thorough initial examination that takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. Subsequent appointments are usually about 1 hour in duration and are 1 to 2 times a week.
